Two Weekends We Will Never Forget

June 2026

Some weeks leave a mark. The kind you carry with you long after the music has stopped and the mats have been rolled away. This month gave us two of those moments, back to back, and we are still pinching ourselves.

Wilton Pride on the Green

It started with sunshine. The kind of perfect, generous June sunshine that feels like the universe saying yes.

We opened Pride weekend the only way we know how, with movement. Our wonderful guide Anna N led an outdoor yoga class on the town green, and what unfolded was something quietly magical. Families and friends, old and new, gathered together in the open air. Two of our most beloved students, Caitie and Liz, came to move with us, and seeing familiar faces in that setting, under that sky, surrounded by so much colour and joy, reminded us of exactly what this community is built on.

All wellness. All welcome. Out in the open, for everyone to see.

We closed out the day dancing on the green. If that isn't a perfect ending, we don't know what is.

One Year of Rhoswyn

Then came June 6. Our first birthday. Our open house. And honestly? It surpassed every hope we had.

The classes were full from the moment the doors opened. Suzanne's 8:30am class was so overflowing with energy that Anna Louise opened a second class downstairs to make sure nobody missed out. At 10:30am, our Family Flow brought pre-teens, teens, moms and grandmas onto the mat together, moving, breathing and laughing in the same room, which is one of the most beautiful things this studio gets to witness.

Anna's lunchtime Hot Flow had everyone dripping and grinning in equal measure. And Mary P closed out the afternoon with a warm gentle flow that we will be talking about for a long time. Windows open. A light breeze drifting through. A room full of people so deeply relaxed and connected that nobody wanted it to end.

At 3pm, our students dressed up and joined us for a ribbon cutting. The studio was filled with the most beautiful bouquets, gifted by the members we are proud to call family. We handed out member appreciation gifts and raffle prizes, welcomed so many wonderful new faces through our doors, and felt gratitude pouring from every corner of the room.

Rhoswyn was built on a simple belief: that wellness belongs to everyone. Regardless of age, gender, ability or where you are in your journey, there is a mat here with your name on it. Watching that belief come to life across two floors, across four classes, across a ribbon cutting surrounded by flowers and familiar faces and tears of joy, that is everything.

As our very first ever customer, Alison, puts it perfectly: "Come for the class, stay for the cold towels" and return for the way your practice and this community makes you feel.

Fair warning, once you start, you're going to be a little addicted. We are absolutely not sorry about that.

To everyone who came through our doors, who danced on the green, who sweated through Hot Flow and melted into Gentle and brought their moms and their grandmas and their curious friends, thank you. You are Rhoswyn.

Here's to year two. 🌿

Be. Breathe. Bloom.
