Building Rhoswyn
A Wellness Story. A Wilton Story.
The Rhoswyn Tenets
Displayed prominently in our flagship Wilton studio, you’ll find the five ideologies we recommend our students practice any time they spend inside our walls:
-
The world will still be outside in an hour
-
If you tried, you did it right
-
Speak to your heart, listen to your body
-
The only best in this room is your best self
-
Make the most of your time, it’s nonrefundable

Our Story

Rhoswyn, pronounced 'hroz-wen', is Gaelic for 'white rose' - a nod to founder Anna Louise's Welsh heritage, West Yorkshire upbringing and to her and her husband/co-founder Jerry’s pride and joy, their daughter Cosima Rose. Roses have long been used in essential oils, tinctures and flower remedies for healing. Throughout our space you will find simple ways to reconnect with nature, community and our body’s own ability to heal.
What makes Rhoswyn Wellness and why is it different from transactional yoga studios?

-
It’s multi-faceted: Rhoswyn Wellness incorporates a wide spectrum of classes including hot yoga, flow, meditation, pilates and Qi Gong. Rooted in the vedic sciences but also incorporating disciplines such as sports science, nutrition and somatic therapy, among others. The goal is to create a unique path to wellness.
-
It’s personal and empathetic: Our classes are not designed to be a series of poses and postures. They’re designed to understand that everyone needs something different on a given day and to speak to those needs.
-
It’s a citizen of its community: On top of classes, we are a meeting place for everything from summer camps to book clubs to Mahjong tournaments. We’re involved in the issues important to our town and put our dollars where they make a difference.
-
It’s for everyone: Our motto is “All Wellness, All Welcome,” an axiom that manifests itself in class offerings as diverse and inclusive as our member base. The only qualification needed at Rhoswyn is the desire to participate and add your best self to our community.
-
It’s kind of cool: Take a class with Anna Louise and you’ll share a pedigree with Hollywood A-listers, NFL Pro Bowlers and Broadway superstars. We tried to give our studio touches of New York City, Los Angeles and London. Come hang out.
Wilton Studio
Welcome to Wilton's Newest Yoga Studio – A Sanctuary for Mind, Body, and Soul
Anna Louise and Jerry planted their roots in Wilton in 2018. In 2025, they decided to plant a flag.
Our Wilton studio blends the best of both worlds: two beautifully designed floors, one with warm, invigorating heat - the town of Wilton’s first hot studio - and the other with a refreshing cool ambiance. Whether you’re seeking to detox and recharge in our heated space or find calm and clarity in a cooler setting, each room is thoughtfully crafted to enhance your practice.

Our studio is more than just a place to stretch. It's a community-focused haven dedicated to holistic healing. From beginner to advanced, our classes are designed to nurture every body, mind, and spirit. We’re committed to providing a space where you can connect with others, embrace personal growth, and find balance.
Join us in Wilton for an experience that goes beyond yoga, where wellness meets community. We can’t wait to share this journey with you!

Anna Louise Williams and husband Jerry Griffin planted their roots in Wilton in December of 2018. They had barely opened their hearts to the community when the world shut its doors.
Those doors eventually reopened and the seeds of an idea had been planted, to nurture the Wilton community as it adapted to a new normal. In 2025, Anna and Jerry planted their flag, a sanctuary for holistic health and well-being nestled in the heart of Wilton and serving its neighboring communities.
Rhoswyn Wellness & Yoga was born.
With two beautiful yoga studios - our heated top-floor Sage studio (Wilton’s first and only) and our calming downstairs Lavender studio - we provide daily yoga, restorative meditation, power classes and more. Our focus on community, holistic healing and whole-body wellness ensures that everyone - from children to adults or from first-time participants to long-time practitioners - can find support and connection here.
At Rhoswyn, it’s all wellness. And all are welcome.
Pronounced ‘hroz-wen’, the name is Gaelic for ‘white rose’; a nod to Anna Louise’s Welsh heritage, West Yorkshire upbringing and to her and Jerry’s pride and joy, their daughter Cosima Rose. Roses have long been used in essential oils, tinctures and flower remedies for healing. Throughout the space you will find simple ways to reconnect with nature, community and our body’s own ability to heal.
We couldn’t be prouder of the welcoming, community-driven environment we’ve created. But what happens inside our space is just as important. Our goal from day one was to be more than a transactional yoga studio.
